Super Speed - Despite his large, and lumbering appearance, Cthulhu is able to move at tremendous speeds while in flight using his powerful wings. He can even taste the reality which makes up a world. Super Senses - Due to his nature, his sense of smell, sight, hearing, and taste are omnipotent. Super Stamina - Being a god, Cthulhu doesn't require sustenance to maintain himself, and can go without it for an indefinite amount of time. 
Super Strength - Cthulhu possesses supernatural strength, his physical power can destroy entire realities, despite being weaker than other Great Old Ones, he can still overpower many other gods. While not as powerful as many other Great Old Ones, Cthulhu is still an incredibly powerful god. In his true form, Cthulhu is as tall as a mountain, or even larger. His flesh has ritualistic sigils carved into him notably on his hands, arms, chest, head, and back. Both his hands are feet are clawed and his wings possess orange eyes. His right hand is thicker than his left and is covered in some kind of natural body armour. Cthulhu's relationship with other gods seems to be indifference or outright malicious as he waged a war with other gods when he arrived on earth.Ĭthulhu most often appears as a large lumbering humanoid with a octopus-like face with tentacles around his mouth and Dragon-like wings. Despite those who worship him, the god has no regard for human life, showing a level of sadistic pleasure when driving humans insane and watching them kill and mutilate each other. Cthulhu only wishes to consume and destroy any reality he is currently inhabiting, to bring about the apocalypse. He as no qualms with brutally killing any human or creature that angers him. The resulting powerful current not only dragged Cthulhu into the building he had been trapped in, but also closed the door behind him, thus trapping him yet again.Ĭthulhu is malicious, sadistic, sociopathic, narcissistic, and apocalyptic. 
The world would have ended then but for the fact that R'lyeh suddenly sunk as the stars moved out of position. As they sailed away, they could see Cthulhu reforming into a whole being again. The god only halted its attack when the sailors used their ship to cut him in half. They opened up one of the strange buildings, only for Cthulhu to exit it and attack them. However, he came close in the 1920s when a group of sailors came across his sunken city of R'lyeh, which had been brought to the surface by the alignment of the stars. It is said that once Cthulhu is fully awakened, he shall rise from the depths and end the world thankfully for humanity, Cthulhu has yet to do so. In most of the myths, Cthulhu lays dormant deep under the ocean within the sunken city of R'lyeh, but can still influence the world via many psychic powers and, of course, his many cults and supernatural minions. However, it is fated that R'lyeh will rise from the ocean permanently and Cthulhu will take the world.
R'lyeh has risen from the ocean for brief amounts of time.
Disaster then struck R'lyeh, sinking it into the ocean. Cthulhu communicated with several humans through dreams, resulting in the Cult of Cthulhu. Cthulhu then went into a deep hibernation within R'lyeh. They waged war for the earth until a truce was made. Cthulhu received resistance from the Elder Things who also lived on earth. They landed on a continent in the Pacific Ocean and built the city R'lyeh. Along with his children and the Xothians, Cthulhu travelled to Saturn and then to Earth.
